Purported uses, not established benefits

Proposed and studied uses include chronic weight management in people with obesity or overweight.

A 2025 trial reports results in Chinese adults. Innovent announced Chinese NMPA approval on June 27, 2025. That is country-specific sponsor-reported approval, not evidence of FDA approval.

A claimed use is not proof of safety, effectiveness or FDA approval. Research-purpose-only labeling does not authorize human use.

Evidence and source limits

The original trial and sponsor announcement provide China-specific context, not an FDA approval. FDA status is not established by these sources. Approval in one jurisdiction must not be transferred to another country or an unrelated preparation.

Product identity, purity, route, safety and suitability remain separate questions. Research-purpose-only labeling does not authorize human use. This note provides no dosing, preparation or purchase guidance.
